Bloomington South guard Jordan Hulls will play in the 2009 Kentucky Derby Festival Classic in Louisville, Ky., on April 11, event organizers announced last week:

The Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic will have a strong local flavor when it is played at Freedom Hall next month.

Partial rosters for the 37th annual event were released today showing 10 of the 20 players headed to local universities. The game also has three McDonald’s All-Americans committed.

Among those on the list are four University of Louisville signees – Peyton Siva, Stephan Van Treese, Mike Marra and Rakeem Buckles. Also selected were Kentucky signees Jon Hood, Daniel Orton and G.J. Vilarino and future Indiana players Jordan Hulls, Maurice Creek and Christian Watford.
