Bloomington South junior Erik Fromm has given a verbal commitment to Butler.
The 6-foot-8 center committed to Brad Stevens‘ program earlier today during a visit to the school’s campus.
“I felt like there really wasn’t any reason to wait any longer,” Fromm told the Bloomington Herald Times. “Right when I got there, everything amazed me. I love the campus, the size of the school is what is most comfortable for me. It’s away from home, but not too far away. The basketball program speaks for itself. In terms of basketball, you can’t really get any higher level than what Butler is. I already had the perfect fit.”
Fromm is the first Southern Indiana college commitment from the Class of 2010.
