The wave of area college commitments continued today.

Bloomington North senior Julian Boatner gave a verbal pledge to William and Mary, a NCAA Division I school located in Williamsburg, Va., the Herald-Times confirmed.

“I think it’s a great fit for him,” Bloomington North coach Andy Hodson told the paper. “He went out there and loved the campus and loved the school.”

Boatner, who also had a scholarship offer from Navy, will compete on the July AAU circuit with Fieldhouse Elite Team Indiana.
