A handful of day two tidbits from the Hoosier Shootout and Indiana Shootout in Indianapolis:
- TSI 2012 Red blew past the D-1 Greyhounds, 58-41, to win their pool and grab a No. 1 seed in bracket play. Jeffersonville’s Darryl Baker totaled 20 and Silver Creek’s Grant Meyer added 15.
- South Decatur’s Byron Balser netted 15 points, but TSI 2012 Red lost their final pool game 66-58 to the Spiece West Stars.
- St. David Blues hammered TSI 2012 White 66-46. Silver Creek’s Zach Ricketts totaled 12 points, and Clarksville’s Billy Edelen and Silver Creek’s Caleb Sprigler each added 11.
- TSI 2014 Red got past Wisconsin Blaze 59-50 to capture a No. 2 seed in the elimination bracket. The Borden duo of Josh Vollstedt and Garrett Vick finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
- TSI 2011 White fell 69-53 to Camp Darryl. Jac-Cen-Del’s Trevor Arnett and Louisville (Ky.) Moore’s Issac Maddox scored 12 apiece, and Charlestown’s Anthony Lloyd added 11.
- CMAS Elite edged TSI 2013 White 56-53 in their final pool game. TSI, which was led by South Central’s Kyle Pease (14) and New Albany’s Cameron Smith (11), began the game down 17-0.
- TSI 2014 White beat St. David Blues 65-61 to close out pool play. Jennings County’s Brad Hunt paced the team with 19 points, and Corydon’s Joseph Hinton chipped in 16.
