Week three scores and highlights from the Team Southern Indiana Boys’ High School Summer League at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Aces 70, Irish 69: The Silver Creek duo of Caleb Sprigler and Matt Hawn paced the Aces to a one-point victory. Grant Meyer and Zach Davidson, also of Silver Creek, finished with 30 and 12 in the loss for the Irish.
Sycamores 79, Bulldogs 65: Salem’s Taylor Banks totaled 17 points and Columbus East’s Zach Martindale got 15 to help the Sycamores pull away from the Bulldogs. Bryce Huebner and Cody Newland, both of Northeast Dubois, led the Bulldogs with 20 and 13, respectively.
Boilermakers 60, Hoosiers 58: Louisville (Ky.) Eastern’s Cedric Daniels netted 22 points and New Albany’s Landon Howard chipped in 13 to pace the Boilermakers to a win. Henryville’s Andrew Jones poured in 23 points and New Albany’s Robby Erskine added 16 to lead the Hoosiers in the loss.
Bulldogs 80, Hoosiers 58: Huebner totaled 32 and Jeffersonville’s Blake Lieras added 17 to lead the Bulldogs to their first win of the day. Erksine and South Central’s Michael Willett paced the Hoosiers with 16 and 12.
Aces 68, Boilermakers 61: Sprigler got 20 and Hawn 15 to lead the Aces to their second win of the day, and Daniels finished 18 for the Boilermakers in the loss.
Irish 86, Sycamores 77: The Irish handed the Sycamores their first loss of league play behind 24 points from Meyer and 20 points from Silver Creek’s Kole Kemmer. The Sycamores were led in defeat by a trio of players with 17 — Bank, Martinsdale and Clarksville’s Billy Edelen.
