WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Glenn Hill had 31 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to prevent IU Southeast from dropping its fifth straight after a win to start the season.
Hill connected on 13 of his 19 shot attempts in the 94-86 to Campbellsville (Ky.) in the second game of the Cumberlands Classic in Williamsburg, Ky. The Grenadiers lost 81-66 to the host Patriots on Thursday evening.
Jared Osborne added 21 points and Anthony Wales Jr. added 16 for the Grenadiers, who allowed the Tigers to shoot 53.1 percent from the floor and 46.2 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
Charlestown graduate Caleb Brown started and scored two points. Cody Doig went 3-for-3 and contributed eight points in the defeat. Campbellsville had six players in double-figures, led by Peyton Broughton, who finished with 20.
IU Southeast (1-5) will look to get untracked Wednesday when it hosts Alice Lloyd (2-0) at the IUS Activities Center.
