OWENSBORO, Ky. — Host Brescia pulled away for a 74-66 win over IU Southeast on Saturday.

The Grenadiers, who shot just 43.4 percent from the floor (23 of 53) and made just two of their 15 3-point attempts (13.3 percent), are now 1-7 on the season.

Senior Jared Osborne and junior Glenn Hill Jr. had co-game highs with 21 points apiece. Osborne was 9-for-13 from the field and Hill went 6-for-11. Gabriel Casillas Cruz came off the bench for 11 points. Casillas Cruz went 4-for-4 from the team. The trio was 19-for-28 from the floor, while the rest of the team went 4-for-25.

Ricky Shuford led the way for the Bearcats with 18 points. Brescia, which made 12 of its 13 free throw attempts, is now 2-3 on the year.
