BOSTON — Romeo Langford played a small role in the Boston Celtics’ 99-75 victory over the visiting New York Knicks on Saturday at TD Garden.
Langford scored the game’s final basket on a layup. He went 1 for 1 and scored 2 points in 2 minutes off the bench.
Jaylen Brown led the way with his first triple-double of 22 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds as the Celtics improved to 19-21 on the season. The Knicks, who are also 19-21, got 19 points from R.J. Barrett.
The Celtics have a day off before hosting the Indiana Pacers on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The Pacers snapped a 6-game losing streak Saturday with a 125-113 victory over Utah.
