NEW ORLEANS — The Celtics won for the third time in the last four games to go back above .500 on the season, but former New Albany and Indiana University star Romeo Langford continues to see his playing time diminished.
The third-year veteran was scoreless — and stat-less — in Boston’s 107-97 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans (18-31) on Saturday evening at the TD Garden.
Boston, which improves to 26-25 with the win, got 38 points from Jayson Tatum and 31 from Jaylen Brown in the win. The Pelicans leading scorer was Jose Alvarado with 19 points off the bench.
Langford and the Celtics host Miami (32-17) at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The contest between Boston and the East-leading Heat can be seen on NBA TV.
