Coleman and the Wolf Pack are now 10-10 on the season (and 3-5 in the MWC) after suffering their fifth loss in their last seven game and their third straight defeat despite Coleman going 5 for 5 from the field and contributing 10 points, four rebounds, an assist and a steal in 31 minutes.
Junior guard Kenan Blackshear led the Wolf Pack with 17 points and six rebounds. Four Nevada players scored in double figures. UNLV senior Bryce Hamilton matched Blackshear with 17 to lead the Runnin’ Rebels.
Nevada shot just 34.5 percent (19 for 55) and made just three of its 17 3-point attempts (17.6 percent) in the loss.
The Wolf Pack will try to bounce back Saturday when they visit Fresno State. The Bulldogs are 15-6 after beating San Jose State 73-43 on Tuesday. The game is scheduled for 11 p.m. locally and will air on Fox Sports 1.
