Coleman, a sophomore and former Jeffersonville star, went 3 for 6 from the field, including 2 of 3 from behind the 3-point arc, in the loss. He also finished with three rebounds, two assists and a steal as the Wolf Pack lost their fourth straight game.
Nevada (9-11, 3-6 MWC) was led by senior guard Desmond Cambridge Jr., who had 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and a steal off the Nevada bench. Fresno State (16-6, 6-3) was paced by junior guard Anthony Holland, who finished with game highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds, and junior forward Orlando Robinson’s 15 points, six boards and three assists.
Coleman and his Nevada teammates will try to end their losing streak Sunday in a makeup game at San Diego State (12-6, 4-3). The Aztecs have lost three of their last five games, including a 58-57 defeat at the hands of Colorado State on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Veijas Arena in San Diego.
