Jacobi, who helped lead Silver Creek to pair of state championships, scored two points, had two rebounds and a steal in 10 minutes off the Toledo bench Saturday. He made his only field goal attempt.
Three Rockets scored at least 20 points in the win. Junior guard RayJ Dennis and senior guard Ryan Rollins scored 22 apiece and junior forward JT Shumate added 20. Dennis also had eight rebounds and eight assists in the win.
Northern Illinois sophomore guard Keshawn Williams (19) and junior guard Kaleb Thornton (18) combined for 37 of the Huskies’ 72 points.
The Rockets host Kent State in a big MAC contest Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Golden Flashes (15-9, 10-4), who have won six games in a row, trailed Toledo by two games in the standings. The game can be seen on CBS Sports Network.
