Jeffersonville senior Lakin Roland, a 6-foot-2 forward who was a key cog in the Red Devils’ march to the Class 4-A state title last season, announced Thursday afternoon she will continue her basketball career at Dartmouth College.

Dartmouth, a NCAA Division I program and member of the Ivy League, is located in Hanover, N.H.

Roland is the sixth area girls’ basketball player to commit to a Division I school.
