Bedford North Lawrence sophomore Jenna Allen has been named one of three Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway Players of the Week.

Allen collected 15 points and eight rebounds as the Stars upended Mooresville 65-45 and then racked up 27 points and eight rebounds as Bedford handled Hoosier Hills Conference rival Jeffersonville 62-46. For the two games, she hit 17-of-19 shots and 8-of-12 free throws.

Hanover Central senior Blayr Polston and Winchester senior Jill Morrison were also named players of the week. Winners are chosen each week from each of the IHSAA’s three districts.
