Former Eastern Pekin standout Jocelyn Mousty has left the Indiana University women’s basketball program and will transfer to a junior college in Florida.
Mousty, a redshirt freshman for the Hoosiers, did not leave IU for disciplinary reasons, a school spokesperson said Thursday.
The 6-foot-3 forward announced Friday on Facebook that she will continue her collegiate hoops career at Santa Fe College in Gainesville.
“I have chosen to transfer to a school called Santa Fe in Florida to get a few things under wraps before I go back to Division I,” she wrote.
Mousty, an Indiana All-Star, averaged 19.2 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior for the Musketeers.
