ROMEO TRACKER: Langford scores 1 point as Celtics win in Cleveland

CLEVELANDRomeo Langford scored one points in the Boston Celtics’ 98-92 triumph at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Monday.

Langford went 0-for-1 from the floor and 1-for-4 from the free throw line in the win. He also had three rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Celtics, who have 3 of their last 4 and 6 of their last 8 to get back to .500 on the season at 7-7. Langford’s point came with 45 seconds left in the first quarter and drew the Celtics within 22-17.

Boston, which blew a late lead Saturday at Cleveland, outscored the Cavs 61-53 in the second half. The Celtics had five players in double figures. Jayson Tatum led the way with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Grant Williams had 11 off the Boston bench, which provided 30 points in the win.

Cleveland, which is now 9-6 on the year, was led by a games-high 28 points from Ricky Rubio, who was filling in for Collin Sexton, who is recovering from a knee injury. The Cavaliers were also without Lauri Markennanen, Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love in the loss.

The Celtics stay on the road for a game at Atlanta on Wednesday. Then they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. The game against the Lakers will be televised on ESPN.
