With William & Mary trailing 41-19, Hatton scored his first basket with 3:15 remaining in the first half. With 12:25 left to go in the game, Hatton rebounded his own miss for his second bucket. That pulled the Tribe to within 62-42.
Georgia State senior guard Kane Wiliams led all scorers with 23 points. He also had nine rebounds and six assists as the Panthers improved to 3-1 on the season.
