RADFORD, Va. — William & Mary fell to 0-6 with a 67-54 loss at Radford on Wednesday, but it was a big night individually for Tribe freshman Langdon Hatton.
Hatton, a former North Harrison star, went 7 for 11, made his only 3-point attempt and both of his free throw attempts for a game-high 17 points in the defeat. Both of William & Mary’s double-digit scorers came off the bench. Senior forward Quinn Blair had 10 points.
The 6-foot-7 Hatton also had 5 rebounds and a blocked shot in 26 minutes.
Radford (2-4) had a pair of players — Rashun Williams and Shaquan Jules — with 13 points to lead the Highlanders in scoring.
William & Mary turned the ball over 21 times and went just 9 for 21 from the field in the second half of the loss.
The Tribe host Division II Mary Baldwin on Saturday at 4 p.m. Mary Baldwin is a program that began is varsity basketball program on Nov. 20. That game can be seen at flohoops.com. On Dec. 1, William & Mary goes to Navy (4-2) for a 7 p.m. tipoff. The Midshipmen opened their season with a win over Virginia. William & Mary-Navy can be seen on ESPN Plus.
