Week three scores and highlights from the HoosierHillsHoops.com Sunday Fall League Boys’ High School Division at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Mavericks 81, Lakers 75: Corydon’s Tyler Ross poured in 15 points and New Albany’s Jalen McCoy added 14 as the Mavericks beat the Lakers. Madison’s Corey Povaleri and New Albany’s Jermaine Parrish each netted 23 points in defeat for the Lakers.
Cavaliers 65, Heat 56: Brownstown’s Spencer Allman racked up 29 points and Scottsburg’s Kyle Petty and Crawford County’s Jordan Nickelson scored 12 a piece as the Cavaliers got past the Heat. Northeast Dubois’ Bryce Huebner and Brownstown’s Chase Klinge finished with 26 and nine, respectively, in the Heat’s loss.
Spurs 57, Bulls 32: Charlestown’s Tim Hall totaled 15 points and Crawford County’s Jordan Newkirk added 13 as the Spurs blew past the Bulls. Henryville’s Andrew Jones paced the Bulls with nine.
Bucks 64, Jazz 48: Jennings County’s Justin Webster scored 18 points and Scottsburg’s Chase Casteel contributed 13 as the Bucks whipped the Jazz. Providence’s Colin Daly finished with 19 points and South Ripley’s Jerad and Jordan Walters each added nine in the loss for the Jazz.
Nuggets 62, Pistons 50: Clarksville’s Cory Brown got 20 points and Borden’s Brandon Beam chipped in 15 as the Nuggets upended the Pistons. Silver Creek’s Caleb Springer totaled 16 and Eastern Pekin’s Todd Albertson added eight for the Pistons.
Magic 56, Clippers 51: Jeffersonville’s Darryl Baker racked up 22 points and Silver Creek’s Zach Ricketts chimed in with 15 as the Magic held on for the win. The Clippers were led in defeat with Crawford County’s Alex Baker (14) and Rock Creek’s Corey Gilbert (11).
Celtics 70, Pacers 65: Seymour’s Matthew Lucas exploded for 24 points and Brownstown’s Tanner Payton contributed 17 points as the Celtics edged the Pacers. Switzerland County’s Keegan Kincaid and Silver Creek’s Grant Meyer scored 22 and 18, respectively, in defeat for the Pacers.
Trail Blazers 58, Suns 52: Greensburg teammates Sean Sellers and Maci Holdsworth poured in a game-high 29 points and 10, respectively, and the Trail Blazers got past the Suns. The Floyd Central duo of Connor Schellenberg and Nick Bomersbach finished with 21 and eight for the Suns.
Lakers 66, Heat 63: Povaleri totaled 15 and Parrish 12 as the Lakers held off the Heat. Huebner led the Heat in defeat with 19, and Heritage Hills’ Devon Merder contributed 11.
Cavaliers 60, Mavericks 55: Nickelson got 14 points and his Crawford County teammate Parker Hudson added 13 as the Cavaliers got the win. The Mavericks were led in defeat by New Albany’s Morgan Tolliver (15) and Corydon’s Ryan Coffman (13).
Bucks 66, Nuggets 64: Jeffersonville’s Trice Whaley went off for a game-high 29 points and Scottsburg’s Brad Bowling chipped in eight as the Bucks nipped the Nuggets in double overtime. Brown totaled 28 and Jeffersonville’s V.J. Billups got 24 in the loss for the Nuggets
Bulls 51, Jazz 43: Jones scored 14 and Jennings County’s Sam Hunt chipped in 12, leading the Bulls over the Jazz. Rock Creek’s De’Jan Garner paced the Jazz with 21.
Spurs 52, Pistons 28: Newkirk netted 13 and Charlestown’s Kyle Hayes contributed 11, and the Spurs shellacked the Pistons. Eastern Pekin’s Phillip Boudreaux finished with nine and Sprigler with six for the Pistons.
Pacers 64, Magic 52: Kincaid exploded for a day-high 31 points and Meyer added 13 as the Pacers held off the Magic. Ricketts totaled 21 and Baker added 14 in defeat for the Magic.
Clippers 56, Suns 48: Crawford County’s Michael Carlisle netted 22 points and North Harrison’s Cory Smith chipped in 13 to lead the Clippers to victory. The Suns were led in defeat by Schellenberg (18) and Brownstown’s Jalen Snodgrass (nine).
Trail Blazers 57, Celtics 43: Sellers totaled 21 points and Christian Academy’s Chris Carruthers added 10, leading the Trail Blazers past the Celtics. Payton finished with 12 and Salem’s Matt Bowlin helped with 11.

Sparks 37, Dream 27: Corydon’s Heather Uhl and Silver Creek’s Alexis McFarland each scored nine points, and the Sparks got past the Dream. Megan Naegele and Kendra Lambert, both of North Harrison, finished with eight and seven, respectively, in defeat for the Dream.
Stars 35, Storm 34: Brownstown’s Mallory Cockerham netted 12 points and South Central’s Shelby Miller and Medora’s Mariah Campbell each added six as the Stars edged the Storm. Clarksville’s Tionna Peters and Katie Price, both of Clarksville, contributed 11 and seven in the loss for the Storm.
Fever 35, Mercury 25: Southwestern’s Brandi Ponder got 12 points and Borden’s Shelby Kirchgessner added six as the Fever held off the Mercury. Floyd Central’s Emily Ziegler scored 10 and Silver Creek’s Emily Clayton chipped in five for the Mercury.
Dream 49, Fever 45: Naegele poured in 16 points and Jennings County’s Summer Sanders added 11 as the Dream outlasted the Fever. Southwestern’s Kelsey Jones totaled a game-high 17 points and Ponder contributed 11 in defeat for the Fever.
Sparks 38, Stars 31: McFarland scored 11 and Corydon’s Taylor Fredericks got 10 to lift the Sparks to victory. The Stars were led by the Miller sisters: Shelby finished with nine and Kelsey with seven.
Mercury 40, Storm 37: Floyd Central’s Taylor Pate netted a game-winning three-pointer in overtime at the buzzer to lead the Mercury over the Storm. Ziegler led the Mercury with 10 in the win; the Storm got eight from Scottsburg’s Kelsey Smith and Silver Creek’s Brooke Barnett totaled six.

Lakers 49, Mavericks 41: Madison’s Nick Macon racked up a game-high 25 points as the Lakers got past the Mavericks. Silver Creek’s Gabe Bauer and Scribner’s Zack Landrum paced the Mavericks with 12 and 10, respectively.
Heat 40, Magic 30: South Central’s Zack Goodwin totaled 15 points and East Oldham (Ky.)’s Nicholas Kratholm added seven as the Heat defeated the Magic. Silver Creek’s Wade Costin led the Magic in defeat with 10.
Nuggets 47, Pacers 35: Madison’s Bryce Harmon netted 13 points and Silver Creek’s Austin Groher and Scribner’s Isiah Hickman each contributed nine as the Nuggets rolled over the Pacers. Corydon’s Jay Brent got eight points and Austin’s Cory Needler added seven in the loss for the Pacers.
Magic 34, Pacers 32: Silver Creek’s Nick Tinsley totaled a game-high 16 points and Costin got six at the Magic squeezed past the Pacers. Austin’s Markus Fleenor finished with 14 and Needler added six for the Pacers.
Mavericks 33, Nuggets 31: Borden’s Kyle Kruer scored 10 points and Bauer added eight as the Mavericks inched past the Nuggets. Crawford County’s Ethan McMonigle finished with 15 and Groher added eight for the Nuggets.
Lakers 41, Heat 24: Macon poured in 21 points and his Madison teammate James Frazier added six as the Lakers shellacked the Heat. Goodwin paced the Heat in the loss with 14 points, and Borden’s Nick Kirchgessner chipped in five.

Stars 46, Fever 44: South Central’s Shelby Miller scored 15 points and Medora’s Mariah Campbell added 10 as the Stars got the win. The Fever were led by Southwestern’s Brandi Ponder, who scored a game-high 24 points.
Mercury 35, Dream 34: The Mercury got 12 points from Silver Creek’s Emily Clayton and held on for the victory. North Harrison’s Kendra Lambert paced the Dream in defeat with 16.
Storm 45, Sparks 17: Scottsburg’s Kelsey Smith led a balanced attack for the Storm, scoring 10 points as the team whipped the Sparks. Silver Creek’s Alex Tinlsey finished with six for the Sparks.
Sparks 44, Fever 41: Heather Uhl and Rachel Deaton, both of Corydon, netted 13 and 12 points as the Sparks edged the Fever in overtime. Madison’s Kelsey Block paced the Fever with 11.
Mercury 44, Stars 41: The Floyd Central duo of Taylor Pate and Emily Ziegler scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, and the Mercury held off the Stars. Miller paced the Stars with 16.
Storm 44, Dream 21: Silver Creek’s Mandy Martin and Smith each scored nine as the Storm cruised past the Dream. Lambert paced the Dream with eight.

Pacers 42, Mavericks 38: Austin’s Markus Fleenor totaled a game-high 17 points to lead the Pacers to victory; Lanesville’s Anthony Stilger led the Mavericks in defeat with nine.
Lakers 38, Magic 28: Madison’s Nick Macon finished with 17 points, and the Lakers held off the Magic. Silver Creek’s Nick Tinsley led the Magic with 11.
