Week three scores and highlights from the Team Southern Indiana Boys’ Middle School Summer League at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Sycamores 64, Bulldogs 54: Parkview’s Miles Harvey, a late addition to the league, totaled 27 points and Silver Creek’s Wade Costin chipped in 14 as the Sycamores held off the Bulldogs. Rock Creek’s Cameron Schmidt led the Bulldogs with 24 points, and Madison’s James Frazier added 10.
Boilermakers 97, Hoosiers 35: Corydon teammates Ryan Crawford and Bronson Kessinger racked up 25 and 24 points, respectively, and River Valley’s Chad Hudson tossed in 21 as the Boilermakers routed the Hoosiers. Madison’s Bryce Harmon led the Hoosiers with 19, and Lanesville’s Joe Ferree netted 11.
Aces 79, Irish 66: Austin’s Christian Barrett and Markus Fleenor netted 34 and 26 points to help the Aces get past the Irish. The Irish were led Silver Creek’s Gabe Bauer finished with 28 and Parkview’s Isaiah Blanton 18 in the loss.
Boilermakers 74, Aces 68: Kessinger netted 23 points and Rock Creek’s Tanner Gerth added 20 as the Boilermakers edged the Aces. Fleenor finished with 24 and Rock Creek’s Will Brown chipped in 22 for the Aces in the loss.
Sycamores 76, Irish 52: Harvey caught fire for 34 points, and brothers Caleb and Wade Costin scored 13 a piece, and the Sycamores cruised to the victory. The Irish were led by Bauer’s 23 and Parkview’s Damonte’ Moss (13).
Bulldogs 81, Hoosiers 49: Madison’s Willie Huffman poured in 27 points and Schmidt added 25 as the Bulldogs breezed to the win. The Hoosiers got 25 points from Ferree in defeat.

Corydon’s Brandon Dunaway totaled 24 points — including six 3-pointers — as Team Southern Indiana 2011 Red held on to beat Atlanta Elite (Ga.) 75-70 in their opening game of pool play at the AAU Super Showcase Silver Division in Orlando, Fla.
TSI 2011 Red opened the game with a 25-10 first quarter edge, but cooled off in the second half.
Aaron Cosby, a Louisville resident who attends a prepatory school in Massachusetts and is orally committed to Seton Hall, added 18. Other scorers: New Albany’s Chris Whitehead (11), Jeffersonville’s V.J. Billups (10), Bedford North Lawrence’s Braden Knight (10) and New Albany’s Adam Stotts (2).
2011 Red will play their second of three pool contests at 6:40p.m. tonight at the Orlando Sports Center versus the New Jersey Roadrunners.

Week three scores and highlights from the Team Southern Indiana Girls’ Middle School Summer League at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Boilermakers 36, Irish 25: Kaitlyn Henning and Justice Burdin, both of Charlestown, scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, as the Boilermakers got past the Irish. Silver Creek’s Morgan Knies paced the Irish with eight.
Hoosiers 37, Bulldogs 35: Austin’s Kaitlin Emery netted 13 points — including a game-winning three-pointer with no time remaining — to lift the Hoosiers over the Bulldogs. Silver Creek’s Jacklyn Helton led the Bulldogs with eight.
Boilermakers 48, Hoosiers 40: Henning finished with 15 and Burdin 13 as the Boilermakers held on to win. The Hoosiers were led by Emery’s 16.
Irish 34, Bulldogs 14: Knies scored 12 and New Washington’s Lexie James added 10 as the Irish scored their first win of the day.

Borden freshman-to-be Garrett Vick was the lone Southern Indiana player named to an all-star game Wednesday night at the second session of Rick Bolus‘ High Potential Blue Chip Basketball Camp in Georgetown, Ky.
Along with Heritage Hills junior-to-be Josh Suhreinrich, Vick was selected to the camp’s Second 30 All-Star Game.
Clarksville junior-to-be Billy Edelen also was recognized at the camp, being awarded the “110-percent” trophy at the camp’s closing ceremonies.
Other Southern Indiana high school players who attended session two included: Lawrenceburg sophomore-to-be Morgan Baker; Salem junior-to-be Taylor Banks; Lawrenceburg sophomore-to-be Chad Banschbach; New Washington freshman-to-be Devin Herron; Lawrenceburg sophomore-to-be Robbie Jackson; Cannelton senior-to-be Cody Lawalin; Lawrenceburg sophomore-to-be Jalen Obertate; White River Valley senior-to-be Austin Roudebush; Silver Creek junior-to-be Caleb Sprigler and Heritage Hills junior-to-be Devon Wahl.

Week two scores and highlights from the Team Southern Indiana Boys’ High School Summer League at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Aces 71, Hoosiers 52: Silver Creek’s Matt Hawn poured in 20 points and Christian Academy’s Aaron Hayes chipped in 18 to lead the Aces to victory. South Central’s Nicholas Soots totaled 16 points to pace the Hoosiers.
Sycamores 70, Boilermakers 56: The Columbus East duo of David Fosbrink and Zach Martindale scored 23 and 20 points, respectively, and the Sycamores got past the Boilermakers. Louisville (Ky.) Eastern’s Cedric Daniels and New Albany’s Parker Henes each totaled 12 for the Boilermakers.
Irish 68, Boilermakers 67: Silver Creek’s Grant Meyer poured in 21 points and his Dragon teammate Kole Kemmer added 15 as the Irish edged the Boilermakers. Daniels netted 17 in the loss for the Boilers.
Sycamores 88, Hoosiers 60: Columbus East’s Zach Martindale netted 26 points and North Harrison’s Lincoln Jones added 25 to lead the Sycamores. Henryville’s Andrew Jones led the Hoosiers in defeat with 22.
Irish 71, Bulldogs 59: Trinity Lutheran’s Brandt Frische finished with 22 points and Meyer chipped in 16 to pace the Irish to their second win of week two. Charlestown’s Chris Braun totaled 19 and Northeast Dubois’ Cody Newland 14 in the loss for the Bulldogs.
Aces 60, Bulldogs 50: Floyd Central’s Shane Missi racked up 21 points in the Aces’ win. Justin Webster, of Jennings County, led the Bulldogs with 15.

Week two scores and highlights from the Team Southern Indiana Girls’ Middle School Summer League at Nolan Fieldhouse:
Hoosiers 48, Boilermakers 25: Austin’s – Coomer scored 12 points to lead the balanced Hoosiers to victory. The Boilermakers were led by Charlestown’s Kaitlyn Henning (12.)
Irish 29, Bulldogs 25: New Washington’s Lexie James netted 16 points to lift the Irish over the Bulldogs. East Washington’s Taylor Drury led the Bulldogs in defeat with 10.
Hoosiers 33, Irish 18: Coomer scored eight points and her Austin teammate Bekah Raichel added seven as the Hoosiers picked up their second win of the day. The Irish were headed by Scribner’s Jenna Shine, who totaled 11.
Boilermakers 36, Bulldogs 31: Parkview’s Rebekah Harris got 17 points and Switzerland County’s Brooke Todd added nine as the Boilermakers came out on top versus the Bulldogs. East Washington’s Ryana Watson and Silver Creek’s Mackenzie Crouch finished with 11 and 10, respectively.
