Brownstown senior Taylor Wischmeier entered the scene as one of Southern Indiana’s top Class of 2010 prospects after helping his high school team advance last season to the state finals.
And after a successful spring AAU circuit, the 6-foot-7 forward is beginning to hear from a handful of college suitors.
Most recently, Wischmeier attended Eastern Kentucky University’s Prospect Camp, a one-day, invitation-only event for potential recruits.
Austin Peay, Evansville, IPFW and Northeastern — all NCAA Division I schools — and a long list of smaller colleges also have been in touch.
Wischmeier will run with Team Southern Indiana 2010 Red during the July evaluation period at the Hoosier Shootout, Kentucky HoopFest, Best of the Midwest and USSSA National Tournament.
